About Me

My name is Jordan Hubbard, I am from England, United Kingdom, a Bible-believing Christian, and a forever student of the Bible, passionate about God’s Word and documenting my studies in written form.

My Journey to Faith

I came to Christ in October 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. For many years I rejected all forms of religion, but feeling lost and searching for truth, I came across a video on biblical principles which captivated me.

This led to reading apologetics books such as I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist and The Case for Christ.

From there, I began reading the Bible, watching various Christian teachers, and attending a local church. In October 2021, both my now wife and I gave our lives to Christ, and we were baptised the following month. From 2021 to 2025, I studied various denominational positions, church history, the Orthodox Church, the Reformation, apologetics, completed an Alpha Course, and worked through The Bible Course by Andrew Ollerton, to name a few things.

Recognising that ultimately, regardless of denominational background, what matters is the sufficiency of Scripture, faith in the blood atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and a personal trust in His finished work for salvation, I began to focus less on systems and more on the biblical text itself.

Christian Leadership Training

In April 2025, I joined the Christian Leadership Institute to pursue more structured and disciplined study of Scripture.

My aim is to sharpen my understanding of God’s Word, think more clearly about doctrine, and develop the ability to handle and communicate the Bible faithfully.

Mission of This Blog

This blog is a place where I document my Bible studies and work through what I understand the Scriptures to teach.

My goal is that as I write and organise these studies to bring clarity to my own understanding of Scripture, they may also be edifying to anyone who reads them.
